A rapid immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of Plasmodium falciparum-specific HRP-2 antigen and Plasmodium species-specific pLDH antigen, including P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. ovale and P. malariae, in capillary or venous whole blood. The test is intended for use by trained healthcare professionals, laboratory personnel or other appropriately trained health workers.
